Since sunset isn’t until around 8pm now, I was able to get to the coast after work in time for sunset this evening. I think this is my favorite image from the trip.

This past weekend was the first really great weather we’ve had in Oregon this spring, so we went out to the coast for the weekend. I was able to photograph sunset both days and had some successful images. I was worried that the second day would be completely overcast, but the clouds opened up just enough at sunset to make for a really interesting sky.

I got up early this morning and went to the nearby Finley National Wildlife Refuge to photograph sunrise. I found some nice subject matter just on the access road and at the entrance to the refuge.

I just returned from attending the Photography at the Summit workshop in Grand Teton National Park. The instructors were amazing. It was a truly inspiring experience.
